First time in many years... we rebuilt the brew stand, and fired it up...

Nearly done... so the stupid vent for the fireplace didn't come in... bah, that is a whole different story but Smoke and Fire is on my not happy list. Any how... finished everything else other than that and the mantle... since the fireplace has to go in first;) Also, touch-up painting... karate class monday... prepare to learn to paint:-P
I was framing away on the project. It includes, a fireplace, built-in bookshelves, a TV on the wall, a bed frame, a mantle above the fireplace and a hardwood floor! So far I have all the framing done and am working on finishing up the bookshelves now. Then on to running the gas and electric for the fireplace.
Ok, instead of studying, or working, or other things I likely should have been doing... I lifted my Jeep. I needed new tires, so I thought maybe I would buy 33" tires, but they would not fit with the stock suspension... so, you know... instead of buying smaller wheels, I bought new coils and shocks, from SkyJacker... the boys had a blast helping, so that was great!

Well, there was a great clearance sale at Lumber Liquidators, so instead of going to Mexico, we bought a bunch of flooring... not sure if that was the right decision;) I finished all 3 upstairs bedrooms during my vacation... The rooms basically looked like this. But now...

Nick won the Chili cookoff... Jon won best costume for his little red riding hood/ grandma wolf combo with his girl!... The Mossies ruled this year;) Once again, Andy was an awesome DJ and kept the dance floor moving!
The boys dressed up as Cody and Rex... star wars clone troopers... they had a blast!
